Dell Mobile Broadband Manager Dw5550 Driver

Dell Update Package for driver installer supporting Dell Wireless 5630 Mobile Broadband Mini-Card. Operating System. Windows 7, 32-bit. 2.02.07.003.1, A00. This is a driver and firmware installer. It does not include the Dell Mobile Broadband. On a Dell Latitude 6320, using opensuse 12.1 64 bit, this card normally asks for its PIN, as soon as I log into KDE. I can then use the networkmanager to make a UMTS/EDGE/GPRS connection. With opensuse 12.2, the PIN is never requested, and I am also unable to activate 'enable mobile broadband'. All regular wifi works as it should, but the broadband just remains dead.

3. Dell Dw5550 Windows 10 Driver. Hi, While we offcourse run a OSX site here - one have to test Windows 8 also In this case i am running Windows 8 on my Dell Latitude e6230 wich comes with a DW5550 mobile broadband card.

When I start a 12.1 live system, it works as it should, and it also works under windows 7.

Any idea what I could do to fix this? I tried to follow various suggestions including a patched network manager, but this all seems to relate to wifi problems anyway, not to the broadband thing. And consequently, none of those suggestions helped.

Is anyone deploying Dell WWAN 5540 Drivers & Dell Mobile Broadband Manager for Latitude Laptops?
We are having an issue where the if we install the 5540 driver pack (as a managed installation once Windows is built) it is advising the 'system is incompatible' and failing to install the drivers. However if we manually install the same driver pack immediately afterwards it installs perfectly fine.
We have tried using the 5540 drivers included in the driver feed from our K2000 server however when we launch the Dell Mobile Broadband Manager it advises the 'Mobile Broadband device is not responding' and is missing the Program Files folder 'Dell WWAN' under the 'Dell' folder. It seems the drivers pulled via K2000 doesn't include the software required to get the Dell Mobile Broadband Manager to work with the WWAN card. Note that the WWAN card can connect to other networks fine so the installation of the actual hardware is fine at this point.
I have spoken to Dell support and they cannot help me with this as they think it is a KACE issue, we are awaiting a response from KACE.
I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue.
